Would you like to learn or practice knitting in 2 or more colors? In this KAL we'll be knitting a stranded colorwork hat in the round. We'll go over some of the techniques used in stranded knitting like holding your yarn, yarn tension, and chart reading. Choose one of the free patterns we've found for you here or bring one of your own to knit.
For this KAL, you should be adept at Casting on and binding off, knitting and purling, and knitting in the round (with DPNs or circulars).
We'll meet 4 Wednesdays from 4:30-6:00pm. When you register for the first session, you are registering for all 4 sessions.
Feb. 21, Mar. 6th and 27th, and Apr 3rd.
You'll be responsible for your own materials for your project; yarn, needles, etc.
If you have questions about picking an appropriate pattern, please contact either Dain (dfrisby-dart@veronapubliclibrary.org) or Erin (eaugspurger@veronapubliclibrary.org)
