Fall Knit Along: A Lace Cardigan in Baby and Adult Sizes

For our Fall Knit Along, we’ll be knitting two variations on a swingy lace cardigan. Choose either Elizabeth Zimmermann’s classic Baby Sweater on Two Needles or a grown-up version of the same cardigan, Pamela Wynne’s February Lady Sweater.

Both versions have a top-down, one-piece construction that's beginner friendly, while incorporating some fun elements like buttonholes and an all-over “gull lace” pattern. The Baby Sweater includes a small amount of seaming for the sleeves, while the Lady Sweater is entirely seamless.

Knit Along meets six Wednesdays from 4:30pm to 6:00pm, beginning mid October:

October 18

November 1

November 15

November 29

December 6

December 20

Please note that registration is for all six meetings.

Once registered, you'll receive an email that includes a pdf of the Baby Sweater pattern, and a link to the February Lady Sweater pattern (also available above). Choose the pattern that most interests you, we'll be knitting both.
