About the program

Share the love of reading! Parent/Child Book Club is for kids ages 8-11 and their parents/caregivers. Each month, we will discuss a novel and enjoy activities and snacks related to the book. Books will be available for check-out at the Youth Services Desk approximately one month before the event.

To celebrate the holidays, this meeting will be a cookie swap! Make your favorite holiday cookies to exchange, and bring in the recipe to share and discuss.

About the program

Join us as we explore cookbooks and recipes featuring a new theme each month. A selection of books will be on reserve at the circulation desk every month for you to check out, otherwise, feel free to use your own cookbook and let us know about it! Each participant will make a recipe and bring it to share and discuss.
