In this book club for mystery enthusiasts, we read the first book in a series by a variety of mystery authors and then discuss over coffee, fruit and pastries. In July, we'll read Still Life by Louise Penny.
Ages 3-5.
This story time includes books, songs, and rhymes for preschoolers and their caregivers who model sitting and listening. We focus on school readiness by improving attention, vocabulary, and imagination! 25 - 30 minutes. No registration.
July's book will be The Princess in Black by Shannon and Dean Hale.
Ages 5-9.
Bring your lunch to the library and listen to a chapter book read aloud while you eat. A small snack will be provided. Geared toward ages 5-9.
Discuss the book The Mystery of the Masked Medalist, plus enjoy activities and snacks related to the book. Ages 8 - 11.
Pick up a copy of the book at the children's desk to read in advance.
This free group English class will be offered mostly online using Zoom. In-person classes will take place at Verona Public Library (500 Silent St, Verona WI 53593) on Tuesday, August 13.

Discuss a graphic novel while eating snacks and doing activities related to the book! We'll be reading The Princess and the Grilled Cheese Sandwich, by Deya Muniz.
