Please join us for the upcoming Madison chapter meeting of the Hearing Loss Association of America, where Madison HLAA and Access to Independence will provide tips on smartphone accessibility features and commonly used hearing assistive technology. Learn how to use technology to cope with hearing loss, and using your smartphone or other hearing-assistive technology in those situations where you struggle to hear.

Information will also be provided on the Telecommunications Equipment Purchase Program (TEPP) designed to help people with hearing loss to buy specialized equipment which will allow them to use basic telephone services.

Following this program, there will be a HOPE (Hearing Other People’s Experiences) group where you can share experiences and learn from others.  The meeting is captioned, and the room is looped to ensure you can understand everything.
