Sergio Gonzalez, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of History at Marquette University whose scholarship focuses on the development of Latino communities in the U.S. Midwest, and the author of Mexicans in Wisconsin and Strangers No Longer: Latino Belonging and Faith in Twentieth-Century Wisconsin.

In this talk, he will delve into the stories and challenges of these resilient communities, from the farmworkers to the labor organizers, to the everyday families who continue to make space for themselves all across the state today.  Join us to learn about and discuss this compelling subject.
