Program Description

Event Details

Kids can learn about the path of rainwater through the watershed to a pond, lake, river, bay, or ocean. They’ll also learn about the sources and effects of water pollution, and practices that are used to keep pollutants out of the water. Activities will include a demonstration of the Enviroscape Model, doing a raindrop tour, and hearing a reading of the book All the Way to the Ocean. Presented by Steve Lawton and Rick Eilertson from AECOM (Verona’s City Engineering Consultant). Geared to ages 5 - 12.
