In August, Parent/Child Book Club will discuss the novel One Came Home by Amy Timberlake.
"In 1871 Wisconsin, thirteen-year-old Georgia sets out to find her sister Agatha, presumed dead when remains are found wearing the dress she was last seen in, and before the end of the year gains fame as a sharpshooter and foiler of counterfeiters."
About the program
Share the love of reading! Parent/Child Book Club is for kids ages 8-11 and their parents/caregivers. Each month, we will discuss a novel and enjoy activities and snacks related to the book. Books will be available for check-out at the Youth Services Desk approximately one month before the event.
