Stop by the library to pick up a free copy and find out more about Verona Reads! Free books will available starting June 26 at 4pm while supplies last. Verona Reads! is a community-wide reading project where the entire community comes together to read and discuss the same book. An author visit from Northwoods author Amy Pease, book discussions, and other fun events will take place during the month of August. More info at veronapubliclibrary.org/verona-reads

2025 Verona Reads! book selections:

  • Young Readers: Skunk and Badger by Amy Timberlake 
  • Middle Readers: One Came Home by Amy Timberlake 
  • Adult Readers: Northwoods by Amy Pease
